More Conference Information

Registration

 

Individuals will be invited to access the conference through a registration process and will be required to pay the registration fee as outlined below. It is hoped that local/regional/international bodies will provide full sponsorship for some TVET practitioners and tertiary level students.

 

 

Fees

 

The registration fees will be structured to encourage as many students as possible to attend. The registration fees will be as follows:

 

 Full Conference Delegates – Early Registration: before/by March 31, U$275.00

 Full Conference Delegates – Regular Registration: from April 01, U$350.00

 Group Delegates U$1000.00 per 5-person group from institutions/organizations

 Daily Registration – Delegates – U$140.00

 Full Student Delegates – Early Registration: before/by March 31, U$100.00

 Full Student Delegates – Regular Registration: from April 01, U$120.00

 Group students U$850 per 10-person group from educational institutions

 Daily Registration – Students – U$50.00

 

Accommodation at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa

 

ALL INCLUSIVE (AIP) ROOM RATES:

 

 Single Rate (Per Room, Per Night) =U$270.00

 Double Rate (Per Room, Per Night) =U$299.00.

 Third Person Charge on the All Inclusive Plan, will apply for any additional children/adult in the room as follows: Children 5 & under Free; Children 6 – 14 $75 per day; Guests 15 and over $99 per day.

 

(AIP) Room Rates - include taxes and resort fees: inclusive of 10% Jamaican Government tax, $4 accommodation tax, 10% service charge and 5.75% resort tariff. These taxes and tariffs are subject to change.

 

Travel

 

Delegates will be required to make individual arrangements for travel even when fully sponsored. The Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay serves as a hub for Jamaica and most international locations have direct flights to Montego Bay. The conference venue or any other likely locations are in close proximity (10 minutes) to the Donald Sangster International Airport.

 

 

NB. Persons arriving at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston (approximately 3 hours away) will pay significantly higher transportation cost to and from the conference venue.
